2. Scope
This policy covers the VIF website, project brief form, legal center, and website contact or request flows. It does not replace the privacy policy for any VIF app. One Question: Mystery Cards has its own privacy policy.
3. Data you provide
When you submit a project brief, VIF may receive your name, email address, project name, type of app, desired platforms, project goal, requested features, current stage, timeline, budget direction, preferred communication method, reference links, and any extra details you choose to write.
If you contact VIF by email or another channel after submitting the brief, VIF may also process messages, attachments, call notes, proposal details, invoices, business details, and support history.
4. Data you should not send
Do not send passwords, private keys, payment card details, government ID copies, health records, children's data, source code secrets, production credentials, confidential business secrets, or other highly sensitive information through the public website form.
5. Purposes of processing
VIF may use website form data to receive and review project requests, reply to you, ask follow-up questions, prepare proposals or estimates, decide whether to accept a project, prevent spam or abuse, keep business records, improve the project request process, and comply with legal obligations.
6. Legal bases
Depending on the situation, VIF may process personal data because it is necessary for pre-contract steps requested by you, necessary for a later contract, necessary for legitimate interests such as responding to project requests and protecting the website, necessary for legal obligations such as accounting or dispute records, or based on consent where consent is specifically requested.
Marketing emails should only be sent if the correct legal basis and any required consent or soft opt-in rules apply.
7. Cookies, analytics, and logs
The current local version of this website is a static site and does not require advertising cookies. After Hostinger launch, hosting providers may process technical logs such as IP address, browser, device information, pages requested, timestamps, and security events.
If VIF later adds analytics, advertising pixels, chat widgets, embedded media, or cookie-based tools, the website should add a cookie notice or consent mechanism where required and update this policy.
8. Sharing with service providers
VIF may share personal data with service providers only as needed to operate the website and respond to requests. Examples may include hosting providers, email providers, form handling services, security tools, analytics tools, document tools, accounting tools, payment providers, or professional advisers.
VIF does not sell website project brief data.
9. International transfers
Some service providers may process data in countries outside your country or outside the European Economic Area. Where required, VIF should use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
10. Retention
VIF keeps project brief data only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above. Typical reasons include responding to the request, preparing a proposal, handling follow-up, preventing abuse, keeping business records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal or tax obligations.
Rejected or inactive project briefs should be deleted or anonymised when they are no longer reasonably needed, unless VIF must keep them for legal, security, accounting, or dispute reasons.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, receive a copy of your data, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority.
VIF may need to verify your identity before responding to privacy requests. Some data may be retained where required for legal obligations, security, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute handling.
12. Security
VIF uses reasonable technical and organisational measures for the website and request process. No website, email, hosting account, or online transmission is completely secure. Do not submit sensitive secrets through public forms.
13. Children's privacy
The VIF website and project request form are intended for adults and business contacts. Do not submit personal data about children through the project brief form.
14. Changes
VIF may update this policy when the website, form handling, hosting, analytics, services, business details, or legal requirements change. The updated version applies when posted on the website, unless mandatory law requires another process.
